climate change and sustainability, what we are doing:

Climate change and sustainability are some our biggest challenges. Good news is that there many ways in which each of us, including our tattoo shop, can contribute to a better and greener future.

In our tattoo shop we have taken different initiatives to make our workplace more sustainable, so that we can not only offer beautiful art, but also make a more positive impact on our planet.

Digital Information

Where you used to use a simple flyer with aftercare instructions after your tattoo session, our government regulations now requires that we provide you with a complete booklet. One of the first steps we have taken is to reduce our paper use. Instead of paper folders, we now offer all information digitally. This not only saves trees, but also ensures efficiency; now you can read your aftercare instructions directly on your smartphone or tablet and you can read them at any convenient time.

This gives us the opportunity to reduce our ecological footprint and inform customers in a more convenient manner

Sustainable Coffee Culture

Coffee is an important part of the day at our tattoo shop. However, we don’t want to create more plastic waste. That’s why we drink our coffee from reusable mugs or serve it in a paper cup instead of disposable plastic. This practice makes a big difference and creates a cozy, personal atmosphere while enjoying a good cup of coffee!

Lighting and Heating

The lighting in our shop was also renewed. We replaced the old TL ceiling lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting. LED lights uses significantly less energy and have a longer lifespan which has a positive impact on both our environment and energy costs. In addition, we have chosen to be less dependent on natural gas and our central heating boiler. By supporting our heating with a hybrid heating pump, we can manage our heating in a more sustainable way, which significantly improves the energy efficiency of our tattoo shop.

Smart use of your materials

We have also implemented number of innovative solutions to optimize material consumption. For example, instead of disposable soap dispensers, we use specially developed hygienic refillable dispensers, which reduces waste and saves costs. This is a simple but effective way to integrate sustainability into our daily routine.

Safe and hygienic tattooing

Your safety and hygiene during your tattoo session and the end result of your body art are our top priority.
We only use the best materials for our tattoos. Not only the needle we use for your tattoo is disposable, but everything that has been in contact with you during the session is disposable and for single use.

All these materials such as barriers, foils, disposables and packaging naturally produce a lot of waste. Wherever its possible, we try to deal with this as consciously as possible without making any concessions on quality and safety of course. We do this, for example, by replacing plastic cups with paper rinse cups.

A Green Future

At our tattoo shop, we believe that sustainability is a collective effort. By making small changes in our shop, we try to think about our own ecological impact. Every step we take, no matter how small, brings us closer to a more sustainable world.

We are happy about what we been able to do so far, but we know that there is always room for improvement. We want to continue to work on finding new ways to work in a more sustainable manner. Together we can make a difference, not only in the tattoo shop, but all around us. Thank you for your support and let’s continue this green journey together!
