All black and grey tattoos I currently make are custom designs drawn on the spot and preferably drawn freehand on the body. This makes the design fit well with the shape of the muscle and body part. I do most of my work single-needle , as the name suggests, everything is done with 1 single needle. No shaders, mags or other large groups with needles. This is the only way to create that smooth and soft stipple shadow/texture.
